Unleash online poker and know the tricks and tips that can lead you to an emphatic win. When it is online poker, you must learn the hands categories properly. You may be amazed to know that some of the hand categories can earn you a sustainable mileage. Let us understand the hands categories and the jargons used to describe them in the world of poker online.

If two out of the five cards are from same rank then it is called a pair in the vocabulary of online poker. It is necessary that the other 3 cards should be completely unrelated. The remaining cards are considered when a tie comes in before. Similarly if two pairs can be formed in your hands with the fifth one remains unrelated, it is called Two Pairs. The bottom pair is used to break the tie.

Straight is said to be the 5 consecutive values of the cards. It is worth mentioning that the suits remain immaterial in forming a Straight. Precisely it means that the Club King can go jolly well with Spade Queen. When the time comes, the hand with a higher number series wins. Again to repeat that it is the number sequence that is counted, not the suits.

The explanation of Flush:

When all five cards belong to same suit, it is called a Flush. In case of Tie, the number sequence comes in before in case of Flush also. When the online poker player receives a hand with 3 of a kind and a pair, his hand is called the Full House. The 3 of a kind gets the edge in case of tie; if they are found equal, then the pair is used to break the tie.

When 4 cards are from the same rank and the fifth one remains unrelated, then it is called four of a kind. Again to repeat in case of 4 of a kind, it is the number sequence that is counted, not the suits.

Any online poker player feels himself to be blessed with the lady luck, if he receives a hand of Straight Flush. In case of Straight Flush, all 5 cards are to be in sequence and from the same suit. In Straight Flush also the advantage goes to the number sequence, not the suits. The combination AKQJ10 is called the Royal Flush.

Happy playing!
